Lucy Kania is a freelance costume designer and theatre educator based in the Boston area. She graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University in 2017, where she studied Drama and English, was President of the student musical theatre company Torn Ticket II, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Following her graduation, she served as Resident Costume Designer and Performing Arts Teaching Fellow at The Noble & Greenough School, a grade 6 -12 independent school in Dedham, Massachusetts. In addition to designing costumes for the Nobles Theatre Collective's four shows, she managed the costume shop and taught students in both classroom and independent study settings. Lucy has also managed wardrobe for the Reagle Music Theatre and Boston Children’s Theatre. Additionally, Lucy has extensive experiences as an actress, singer, director, and dramaturg. She is currently pursuing her MA/MFA in Theatre Education and Applied Theatre at Emerson College.
